I would add somewhere, perhaps in the part about overstays, that sometimes a person&#039;s documentation or lack of it depends on actions/exploitation by others: think domestic violence victims and trafficking victims. I would also explain more explicitly the interaction between use of the term and immigration law and policy. That it, using the term not only hurts&#039; some feelings, it changes the way American voters think about immigration policy.</description>
