It is possible for an employer to petition for a worker to get a green card (commonly called the PERM process). However, the process is more difficult than you might think. In this process, the employer will be the petitioner, and the employer also has to pay all of the application and legal fees.
đ The whole process can easily take over a year to complete. If your worker is here with a temporary visa, and that status lasts less than a year, you cannot count on this process to keep the worker in status. The worker would likely have to leave the country, and then return when the process is complete.

âī¸ Drafting all of the relevant forms for the Department of Labor and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and sending them to you for signature.
âī¸ Providing checklists and direct support to help you collect the supporting documents.
âī¸ Assistance complying with all recruitment steps.
âī¸ Responding on your behalf to any audits or requests for evidence.
âī¸ Completing all steps required to obtain your green card after approval of the petition, whether inside or outside the country.
âšī¸ The application filing fees charged by the government are not included in the flat fee. (That just covers our legal work.)
đ đ After you make the first payment, we will e-mail you an Attorney-Client Contract that you can sign electronically. Then, we will e-mail you and your employer a link to our online intake form, as well as a checklist of items to start collecting.
